Nutcracker Remix will be our holiday-themed Fall Production coming November 6, 2021! Clara and her friends are having a holiday slumber party and dream about what they are going to get for Christmas. Once Clara falls asleep, her toys start to come to life around her, including a toy Nutcracker! They travel to a Snowflake Forest, a Land of Sweets, and meet classic characters with a twist, like the Sugar Plum Fairy and the Mouse King! Nutcracker Remix is more dance-oriented and will showcase different styles such as ballet, lyrical, jazz, acro, and more. Our performance will be 30-45 minutes long and open to all AIM students in our Creative Division and Upper Division. Nutcracker Remix will be performed at Twitchell Auditorium through Converse College on November 6th! Come be a part of the holiday magic!
he Art of Seuss will be our Spring Production coming February 26, 2021! Traveling from the Jungle of Nool to the city of Whoville, the Cat in the Hat narrates the story of Horton the Elephant, who discovers a speck of dust containing tiny people called the Whos. Horton must protect the Whos from a world of dangers, all while guarding an abandoned egg that's been left behind by Mayzie La Bird. Horton seeks friendship from Gertrude McFuzz, who never loses faith in him. The powers of friendship, loyalty, family and community emerge triumphantly! The Art of Seuss will be more theatrical with speaking roles, acting scenes, dance solos, and even opportunities for singing solos! Our performance will be 45 minutes to an hour long and open to all AIM students in our Creative Division and Upper Division. The Art of Seuss will be performed at Twitchell Auditorium through Converse College on February 26th! Get ready to dance with us through the wacky world of Dr. Seuss!
Our brand new performance opportunity open to Creative Division classes & Acro classes. Storybook Showcase is our end-of-the-year showcase that tie our classes together to one theme, and this season's theme is...Alice in Wonderland! Each class will portray a different character from the world of Wonderland, including the White Rabbit, the Cheshire Cat, the Queen of Hearts, and more! All classes will rehearse during normal class time to ensure a non-threatening introduction to the stage. Our performance will be 30-40 minutes long and will be performed at Twitchell Auditorium through Converse College on Saturday May 5th! We can't wait to dance with you in Wonderland!
